	Sign-In  Register            Edgar Diaz My name is Edgar Diaz born and raised in Austin, TX. I’m a junior at Lanier High School and the Treasurer of the Lanier FFA chapter. I am really excited about leading this year's FFA chapter. I have taken the following agriculture classes: Principles of Agriculture, Principles of Floral Design and AG Metal Tech. Last year I earned my Texas State Floral Association level 1 certification. I’m a member of the Lanier FFA Barbecue team and AG Mech team, last year we made a BBQ pit from scratch and was awarded the 3rd place in the state BBQ competition. This attended the state FFA convention in Fort Worth and I was inspired by all the speeches they gave. I strive to make my FFA chapter the best chapter it can be, to encourage the new member to join some of the teams we offer, for example, the AG Mech Team or the BBQ team.
